Dr Khalid is a consultant psychiatrist with experience of over 29 years and worked both in NHS and private sector over the years.
He has adequate knowledge and competency in the assessment and treatment of a range of psychiatric conditions in the working age group.
He, however, has particular interest and expertise in the assessment as well as treatment of ADHD in adults and mood disorders.
Dr Khalid used to have an Honorary Senior Lecturer title at the Department of Psychological Medicine and Neurosciences at Cardiff University, and also acted as a College Tutor, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, for Cardiff and Vale University Health Board while Postgraduate Taught Courses Director as well as Interim Deputy Head at School of Psychiatry, Wales Deanery or HEIW. He has also served as Clinical Services Group Director for Mental Health at Cwm Taff University Health Board.
Dr Khalid’s academic and research work has been featured in many national and international publications and conferences over the years.
