Hi, I’m Jen and I’m a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist providing evidence-based therapy within a non-judgemental and compassionate space. I support adults who experience a range of difficulties or challenges in their lives. These may include experiences of anxiety, low mood or depression, feelings of being overwhelmed, panic attacks, critical self, shame, guilt, bereavement/grief, and trauma. Although I can support all adults, I also have a particular interest in the perinatal period (pregnancy and up to 1-2 years follow birth), and am passionate about providing spaces for parents to talk about what they are finding difficult in their parenting journey.
I draw on a variety of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and attached based therapies such as Video Interactive Guidance (VIG). Using a collaborative and person-centered approach, I can work with you to help you understand your experience and provide an intervention which will support you to reach your hopes/goals from therapy.
