I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist working both within the NHS and privately and I am experienced in working with people experiencing distress associated with a wide range of mental health difficulties including anxiety, panic attacks, trauma/PTSD, phobias, depression, loss and bereavement. In addition, I have worked extensively with people who experience distressing psychosis and individuals with learning disabilities.
I draw on a variety of therapeutic models in my practice to meet the individual needs and goals of my client, these include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
I have worked in forensic settings and I am a trained expert witness so would be happy to take referrals related to this. I also offer cognitive assessments related either to forensic work or to test for cognitive changes (e.g. Dementia).
