During my 15 years of practice, I have worked in a variety of settings such as NHS CAMHS (outpatient and inpatient care), outpatient and inpatient adult settings (including forensic), various schools where I supported children with learning difficulties. At the moment, I am entirely dedicated to expand my private practice.
I offer an integrative approach which means that I am able to use a variety of techniques that better suit the individual’s needs. My intervention can include, ICBT, mindfulness, brief psychodynamic therapy and trauma focused interventions. I work with all ages and with a variety of conditions such as, ADHD, ASD, PTSD, OCD, depression, anxiety, amongst other problematics.
In 2009 I conducted a research on the Concept of Psychic Trauma in Winnicott and Kohut. Here I explored how our early attachments impacts the relationship with ourselves and others throughout life and how this may contribute to the development of various mental disorders.
In 2012, I completed the Triple P training (Positive Parenting Program) delivered by Queensland University, as part of a Multi-level, parenting and family support strategy. This was designed to reduce the prevalence of behavioural and emotional problems in children and adolescents. The model aimed to enhance parents’ self-sufficiency in interacting with their children in instrumental, social and emotional care-giving contexts.
In 2015, I became a Certificated Clinical Supervisor, I provide supervision and consultation to other clinicians, assistant psychologists and healthcare workers.
In 2018, I gained my Certification in Trauma Treatments in London, which enables me to provide Trauma Focused CBT when working with trauma and/or PTSD.
Since 2019, I have also been developing my training and work with individuals diagnosed, or, with suspected ADHD. My approach is Integrative with focus on Compassion based principles.
