I am a qualified Art Psychotherapist with full Health Professions Council and British Association of Art Therapists registration and I abide by the Code of Ethics and Practices for these professional bodies.
I have been working within the National Health Service and other private, public and voluntary sectors for over fifteen years. Following my Post Graduate Training at the University of Sheffield I commenced my employment as the sole Art Psychotherapist for the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. My work has include working with severely traumatised and vulnerable children and young people with complex mental health issues/needs and other traumas. I work with children and young people both in individual and group therapy. I also works as a freelance Art Psychotherapist and trainer and offer Art Therapy to children and young people experiencing a wide range of difficulties including mental health, anxiety, school related issues, self esteem, trauma and other life events that may benefit from further support.
